What is a Wrap?

A vehicle wrap is a high-quality vinyl film that is professionally applied over your car’s original paintwork. It allows you to change the colour, finish, or design of your vehicle without permanent commitment. Wraps are completely removable, meaning you can return your vehicle to its original colour in the future if desired. Wrap finishes include gloss, satin, matte, metallic, and carbon fibre.

Benefits to Vehicle Wrapping

Vinyl wrap acts as a protective layer, helping to shield your original paintwork from stone chips, minor scratches, UV fading, and general wear.

Unlike paint, a wrap can be removed without damaging the factory finish meaning you can change colours/styles as often as you like.

Wrap is a much more cost-effective way of customising your vehicle compared to paint, with hundreds of combinations of colours, textures and finishes to choose from.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every vehicle and wrap is different. Factors such as vehicle size, wrap coverage, vinyl type, paint condition, and panel complexity all affect the time and materials required. Full vehicle wrap prices start from £1200. To ensure accurate pricing and the best results, all wraps are quoted individually based on your specific vehicle and requirements. Yes — roof wraps, bonnets, mirrors, de-chroming, sun strips, and accents are all available.

Vinyl will not repair damaged paint. Vinyl wrap will always take the form of the bodywork underneath it so if there are issues with the bodywork this may still be visible even when wrapped over. In some cases, preparation work may be required before wrapping (Currently we do not offer preparation work).

Depending on the work that's being carried out and the size of the vehicle, the timespan can change significantly. On average for a full disassembly, wash, exterior wrap and reassembly, we ask to be left with your vehicle for 10-14 days. Smaller jobs may only require us to have your vehicle for as little as a few hours.

Usual hand washes are strongly recommended - just avoid high-pressure water around the edges and harsh chemicals. Head on over to the Aftercare section for all the details on how to keep your freshly wrapped vehicle clean!
