Do not wash your vehicle for at least 7 days after installation. This allows the adhesive to fully cure and reduces the risk of edges lifting. Avoid heavy rain exposure where possible and do not apply waxes, sealants, or coatings during this period.
Drive-through car washes are not recommended due to brushes and harsh chemicals. Hand washing is strongly recommended. Use a soft microfiber cloth or wash mitt with warm water and a pH-neutral shampoo free from solvents or alcohol. Rinse thoroughly and allow the vehicle to air dry or gently dry using a clean microfiber towel. Avoid abrasive pads, polishes, clay bars, solvent-based cleaners, petrol station brushes, and unapproved tar removers. These products can permanently damage the wrap.
Pressure washers should be used with caution and for rinsing purposes only. Keep the nozzle at least 1 metre away from the vehicle and never direct water at edges, seams, or joins. High pressure can cause lifting, especially in colder conditions.
Bird droppings, tree sap, fuel spills, and insect residue should be removed as soon as possible using warm water or a mild cleaner. Mineral spirits may be used sparingly if required. Avoid aggressive scrubbing.
Matte and satin finishes require additional care. Do not polish or wax these surfaces as this will cause glossy patches. Only use products specifically designed for the appropriate vinyl.
